Residential yard waste such as leaves, grass, and tree trimmings are accepted at the Knott Landfill Recycling & Transfer Facility site and at the Northwest, Southwest, and Negus Transfer Stations. There is a small fee to drop off this material. Yard debris must be free of dirt, sod, or rocks. Finished compost products are sold by Deschutes Recycling at Knott Landfill Recycling & Transfer Facility (see below for contact information).
