The Department of Solid Waste takes pride in providing a safe place for residents to dispose of or recycle unwanted materials. With four Transfer Stations located in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, and La Pine, citizens are assured easy access to fit with their busy schedules. The Department also offers money-saving collection events throughout the year, such as a Tire Event, Appliance Event, and Household Hazardous Waste.  On this website, you will find information regarding everything from rates & fees, directions, and hours of operation to recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and asbestos regulations.
